In the August issue, the Gütegemeinschaft reports on its new sustainability working group and the lecture programme at the Fensterbau Frontale Forum.

Gütegemeinschaft Kunststoff-Fensterprofilsysteme (Quality Association for PVC Window Profile Systems) and EPPA have been committed to the sustainable construction product of PVC windows for years, and the new GKFP working group will further support this commitment. Also on the agenda was the topic " PVC window profiles: A contribution and a blueprint for the Green Deal" was the focus of the Fensterbau Frontale forum.

Sustainability working group

At this year's general assembly meeting of GKFP and EPPA, it was decided to establish a sustainability group. The task of the working group is to promote quality and product features and the orientation of the quality association in this regard, as well as to advise the board and quality committee on sustainability issues. In the inaugural meeting of the new working group, the aim was to bring together system suppliers and the interested professional groups and to define the expectations. The group received impulses for this from lectures by external speakers.
