bauelemente bau Review: General Assemblies of EPPA, QKE and GKFP in Karlsruhe

"Industry plays important role in tackling the climate crisis"

In the current issue of bauelemente bau (06/2022), the editors report on our general assembly meeting:

"In 2022, the European Trade Association of PVC Window System Suppliers (EPPA), Qualitätsverband Kunststofferzeugnisse (QKE) and Gütegemeinschaft Kunststoff-Fensterprofilsysteme (GKFP). The respective general assemblies at the Novotel Karlsruhe City were organized in a hybrid form to enable as many members as possible to participate. 'We are in a position to play a major role in tackling the climate crisis and in the EU Green Deal. 40 per cent of total energy is consumed in the building sector, but European industry uses only 12 per cent recycled materials. We as an industry are helping to save energy. This should encourage us', Patrick Seitz, Managing Director of aluplast GmbH and outgoing Chairman of EPPA, opened the day."
