About GEALAN*
Successful design combines functionality with aesthetics. Guided by this principle, the internationally active GEALAN Group markets innovative PVC window profiles. These are developed and manufactured using state-of-the-art processes. The tools used in this process are produced in the company’s own, highly automated toolmaking facility. Long-standing partner companies then process the PVC profiles into contemporary windows, doors, and sliding systems that impress with their attractive appearance, exceptional stability, a high level of security, and excellent thermal insulation values. The GEALAN-acrylcolor® surface technology further enhances the profiles and, thanks to its wide color palette, offers an enormous variety of design options.
Comprehensive services and tools, such as architectural consulting and planning software, complete GEALAN's portfolio by supporting architects and planners in their daily work. The award-winning BIM data packages enables the creation of reliable 3D concepts using original products.
Sustainability at GEALAN
For more than 30 years, GEALAN has been working to continuously improve material usage, recycling cycles, and production processes, and to use resources more efficiently. A newly formed team is now working to further strengthen sustainability as an integral part of the corporate culture. Its goal is the company-wide implementation of a holistic approach aimed at sustainability.
GEALAN develops its PVC profile systems with an eye toward their recyclability at the end of their useful life. Production waste and many end-of-life PVC window components can be recycled through established processes at partner companies or at GEALAN’s own recycling facility. The average share of recycled and circular raw materials in the PVC used by GEALAN is currently 44%.
GEALAN also uses bio-attributed PVC. In this process, renewable raw materials derived from plant-based residues and waste are attributed to the PVC used in accordance with the mass balance principle. The corresponding supply chain, as well as our production sites in Germany, Lithuania, and Poland, are ISCC+ certified. The goal is to further reduce greenhouse gas emissions associated with raw material procurement. All electricity used at GEALAN's German sites (and most of the international sites except Poland; as of September 2026) is sourced from renewable energy. Internationally, GEALAN collaborates with initiatives such as VinylPlus® and EPPA to drive progress in recycling, resource efficiency, and the circular economy within the industry.
