WPR produce innovative lamination machines that are tailored to the customer's needs. TAKA, on the other hand, specialises in high-quality PUR hotmelt adhesives for profile lamination. The product range is completed by various primers and industrial cleaners. The reactive polyurethane adhesives are used for wrapping of PVC window profiles but are also suitable for the foil lamination of windowsills, Georgian bars or spacer profiles (warm edge). All adhesives impress with their enormous durability and weather resistance, which allows our customers to give many years of guarantee on their windows.
PROFILE WRAPPING IN CONSTANT GROWTH
Foil lamination of PVC window profiles is one of the most widespread colouring processes. It involves the laminating of polymer films with a wide variety of decors onto the single-colour PVC substrate, which visually enhances the product in terms of surface finishing. The lamination process is characterised above all by its flexibility and linear continuity in the process. This means that it is possible to change from one colour to the next without any transition during the ongoing process of series production.
Due to the increasing demand, we have founded the WPR-TAKA ACADEMY, which offers training courses on all aspects of profile lamination. The courses are aimed at machine operators, production managers or company management and can be put together individually by the customer. In addition, there is the integrated application laboratory, which is available to our customers for quality control, process analysis and simulations of all kinds.
