The surface specialist supplies films and coated substrates to the automotive, furniture and construction industries as well as the DIY trade, and offers elastomer-coated solutions for the printing industry. For the design of building elements, the specialists manufacture and market high-quality exterior films for window profiles, front doors, garage doors and facades that combine design and function, and are also partners to planners and architects. Continental coatings for building components have a modern look, a wide range of applications and almost indestructible material properties.

The cool colors technology reduces heating of window profiles, even when exposed to intense sunlight. Special color pigments reflect up to 80 percent of radiation in the near infrared range. As a result, the surface temperature is up to 15°C lower than with other coatings. This reduces the risk of product failures and premature aging.

Continental surfaces for outdoor areas are intensively weathered as part of long-term testing and offer unsurpassed robustness and durability on the market.

With expressive and modern designs, Conti® woodec ensures a perfect genuine wood look. Almost indistinguishable from a wooden window, it enhances the appearance of the building shell.

With Conti® mattex, Continental is introducing the most matte covering for profiles currently available on the market. The sand-matte surface texture in stylish colors, from jet black and anthrazitgrau through to weiß, perfectly reproduces the appearance of powder-coated aluminum.
